On January 29, 2025, Rep. Stevens expressed her enthusiasm about attending an event at the Oak Park Public Library with local officials. She wrote, "Great to join Mayor Pro Tem of Oak Park Shaun Whitehead and Deputy Secretary of State Aghogho Edvebie at the Oak Park Public Library for a lecture on the contribution of African Americans to automotive manufacturing and entrepreneurship."
In another tweet dated January 30, 2025, Rep. Stevens emphasized the importance of challenging certain orders she believes do not benefit Americans. She stated, "This is why we need to keep pushing back, and making clear these orders don’t serve the American people."
Additionally, on January 30, 2025, Rep. Stevens extended well-wishes for the Lunar New Year to her constituents in Michigan's 11th District by tweeting: "Happy Lunar Year to those in the MI-11 District celebrating today! May this year be prosperous and joyful for all!"
