Rep. Haley Stevens, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 11th district since 2019, recently shared her thoughts on various issues through social media posts. These tweets reflect her stance on hate crimes, innovation in robotics, and economic policies affecting her constituents.
On June 2, 2025, Rep. Stevens expressed her concern regarding an antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado. She stated "I am anguished over the antisemitic attack in Boulder, CO. This level of hate and violence cannot be tolerated in the United States of America, and we all need to continue to speak out against its evils."
Later that day, she highlighted her collaborative efforts with fellow representatives to boost America's position in the robotics industry. She tweeted " Proud to be working with my colleagues @RepMcGovern, @JayObernolte, and @boblatta to increase our focus and invest in the robotics industry so America, not the Chinese, can lead on innovation."
In another post on June 2nd, Stevens criticized former President Trump's tariff policies for their negative impact on Michigan businesses. She remarked "Trump’s chaotic tariffs are hurting Michiganders left and right. These small businesses are the manufacturers I meet with all the time, who do an incredible job innovating and putting Michiganders to work. We have to stop Trump’s reckless tariff policy and SAVE MICHIGAN JOBS!"
Haley Stevens was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan in 1983 and currently resides in Birmingham. She holds a BA from American University.
