Rep. Haley Stevens, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 11th district since 2019, has taken to social media to express her concerns on several issues affecting her constituents and the broader national landscape.
On June 3, 2025, Rep. Stevens highlighted the importance of Job Corps in providing career training and support for young Michiganders. She criticized what she described as the "Trump-Musk chaos agenda," which she claims is jeopardizing jobs and housing security for these individuals. "Job Corps provides critical career training and support for so many young Michiganders."
The following day, on June 4, 2025, Rep. Stevens shared that Linda McMahon was testifying before her committee on Education and Labor. She indicated her eagerness to question McMahon by stating: "Linda McMahon is testifying before my committee on Education and Labor, and oh boy do I have a lot of questions for her."
Later that day, Rep. Stevens addressed findings from the Congressional Budget Office regarding former President Trump's budget proposal. She stated that the proposal would remove health coverage for 11 million people while increasing national debt by $2.4 trillion. This action was juxtaposed against tax benefits purportedly favoring the wealthiest individuals, which she opposed as harmful to working Michiganders: "The CBO declaring that Trump’s budget will kick 11 million people off their health coverage and increase the debt by $2.4 trillion."
Stevens graduated from American University with a BA and currently resides in Birmingham, Michigan.
