On August 6, 2025, Stevens commemorated the anniversary of landmark civil rights legislation, stating: "60 years ago today, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law, a historic step toward protecting every American’s right to vote. Stevens has represented Michigan's 11th District since succeeding Dave Trott in 2019. She was born in Rochester Hills in 1983 and currently resides in Birmingham. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
