Rep. Haley Stevens, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 11th district since 2019, marked several significant events and personal moments in a series of posts on her official Twitter account.

On August 6, 2025, Stevens commemorated the anniversary of landmark civil rights legislation, stating: "60 years ago today, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law, a historic step toward protecting every American’s right to vote. It was made possible by the fight and sacrifice of generations of Black Americans. But today, those protections are being weakened. In Texas, Trump".

The following day, on August 7, she expressed gratitude for participating in an industry event: "Thank you to the @SugarAlliance for inviting me to be part of the 40th Annual Sweetener Symposium. It was a pleasure to join so many hardworking sugar farmers and leaders right here in Michigan to discuss an issue close to my heart: the importance of Michigan manufacturing."

Later that same day, Stevens shared condolences over the loss of a community leader: "I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend, Damany Head.

Stevens has represented Michigan's 11th District since succeeding Dave Trott in 2019. She was born in Rochester Hills in 1983 and currently resides in Birmingham. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
