Rep. Haley Stevens details week of meetings on aerospace, hunger relief, and auto legislation

Rep. Haley Stevens, who represents Michigan’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on her official X account regarding her activities focused on aerospace, food insecurity, and legislative advocacy.

On August 22, 2025, Stevens posted about her engagement with Michigan's aerospace sector: " Tuesday: Visiting Weldaloy Specialty Forgings and meeting with aerospace industry leaders, diving into Michigan’s growing aerospace sector."

The following day, she highlighted efforts to address hunger in the community: " Wednesday: Hosting a roundtable on hunger and food insecurity with Forgotten Harvest CEO Adrian Lewis and community leaders."

On Thursday of that week, Stevens discussed her participation in an automotive policy meeting: " Thursday: Joining MichAuto’s Advocacy Committee Meeting talking about my bills the Unearth America’s Future Act and No Chinese Cars Act both aimed at lowering costs, protecting Michigan jobs, and strengthening domestic innovation."

Stevens has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after succeeding Dave Trott. She was born in Rochester Hills in 1983 and currently resides in Birmingham. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University.
